He’s been featured on BBC, CCTV and Reuters as an African Male Feminist and on CNN’s African Voices and PBS for challenging perceptions on Africa through his photographs and writings. He is on Instagram and Twitter as @africashowboy, and a member of the Instagram group @everydayafrica, which means he has over 400,000 followers on Instagram. Nana is the 2016 recipient of the Tim Hetherington Foundation and World Press Photo fellowship, for his work on gender. He is a member of the Ghana Journalists Association; and an award-winning blogger He worked as a Snr. Copywriter at Lowe Lintas Ghana from 2002-2006, and won awards every year. He holds a B.A (Arts) English degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Nana mainly works in Africa and has experience working as a Photographer and Writer in Namibia, Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, La Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Nigeria, Liberia, DR Congo, Tanzania, Uganda, Mauritius, Senegal, The Gambia, Ghana, Niger, Mali, Morocco, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Kenya and South Africa. He lives in Accra, Ghana with his wife, three children and two boerboels and is available for work across Africa.
